COUNTRY WIDE EXHIBITION

Recently exhibited at Brunswick Street Gallery, this body of work marked a deeply personal and significant moment in Kel’s journey.
Stepping from a quiet farm studio into a bustling city gallery space, the collection carried with it the essence of rural life open skies, dusty paddocks, animals with personality, nostalgic pantry staples and stories shaped by Australian outback.

The exhibition was not only about showcasing paintings, but about connection.
Each piece became a conversation starter, drawing in viewers from all walks of life and inviting them to find familiarity within the artworks whether through a memory, a feeling, or a sense of place.

There is an honesty woven through the work.
A softness in the colour palettes contrasts with bold, grounded forms, reflecting the duality of strength and sensitivity. It speaks to resilience, to navigating change, and to holding onto where you come from while stepping into something new.

For Kellie presenting this collection in Melbourne was both exhilarating and confronting pushing beyond comfort zones and embracing growth.

It was a reminder that art has the power to bridge worlds, from country to city, from personal story to shared experience.

Country Wide continues to evolve, much like the landscapes that inspired it ever changing, deeply rooted, and full of heart.
